This is a practice for deep regulation to disrupt the cascade of stress responses held in the body. The focus is on slowing down and includes belly breathing, sighing, and open vowel vocalizations while laying down.
Guided Practice
Practice is the place we arrive after we’ve tried everything else and are seeking something more. It’s a time we set aside to cultivate intimacy within ourselves as we relate to our lives in context. Practice helps us to embody possibility. To compassionately get to know our needs. There are infinite ways to touch the present moment. Find which ones work best and don't stop until you've discovered something new about yourself. The right practices will shift and change from day to day and over the course of your life. I offer these guided practices as possibilities.
